
Anna Maria Chlumsky born December 3, 1980[2]) is an American actress. As a child, she began acting. She is well-known for her performance as Vada Sultenfuss in the film My Girl (1991)and its sequel, My Girl 2 (1996). Following her first appearances in the film, Chumsky stepped away between 1999 and 2005 in order to attend college. She returned to acting in roles in independent films like Blood Car (2007), In the Loop (2009). Her character of Amy Brookheimer in the HBO series Veep (2012-1999) earned her six nominations which included the Primetime Emmy Award For Outstanding Supporting Actress In a Comedy Series.
