tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez was born February 27, 1976. He is an American football tight end. He played 17 seasons with the National Football League. Gonzalez is believed to be one of the most significant tight ends of all time. Gonzalez holds the NFL record for receiving yards and receptions as a tight end. In addition, he is third overall in receptions. Gonzalez was drafted in the 1st round of the Kansas City Chiefs. He spent his first 12 season playing for them. In his final five seasons, he was with the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez, who quit in 2013, has been the analyst of NFL on Prime Video. Before this, he worked at CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six All-Pro honors. The player is known for his strength and his infrequent fumbling, Gonzalez appeared in 270 of 272 regular season games and only lost two fumbles in 1,327 plays. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Gonzalez was inducted in 2019.
